A personal island with open ports.
Sanagain is where I preserve changing judgments about work, technology, manufacturing, and becoming.
I work close to Asian manufacturing and write from the perspective of an operator rather than a spectator. I am interested in how AI changes real organizations, how technologies become businesses, and how individuals rebuild agency when old paths stop compounding.
Principles
Facts, judgments, and unknowns should be separated. Public writing should preserve how a conclusion changed, not manufacture an image of permanent certainty. Commercial work is welcome when it is disclosed and does not purchase a conclusion.
Boundaries
I do not publish confidential information about employers, customers, suppliers, colleagues, or family. Organizational stories are abstracted toward reusable principles rather than identifiable details.
